Hot Orange Sundae

  • 500ml freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 6 tbsp caster sugar
  • 4 tbsp Bonne Maman Bitter Orange Marmalade
  • 25g unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp Grand Marnier
  • 8 scoops good quality chocolate ice cream
  • chocolate shavings and orange zest, to serve

Method

Method

  1. In a saucepan over a medium heat, combine the orange juice, sugar, marmalade and butter. Bring to the boil, then turn down the heat and simmer gently for 15 minutes

  2. When the sauce has reduced, stir in the Grand Marnier. Simmer for one minute more then remove form the heat and serve spooned over scoops of luxury chocolate ice cream and topped with chocolate shavings and orange zest
