This Privacy Notice explains in detail the types of personal data we may collect about you when you interact with us. It also explains how we will store and handle that data, and keep it safe. Privacy and protection of your personal data

By engaging with us on our website you may provide us with your first name, surname and email address and the information you choose to share with us will only be used in order to process and follow up on your requests. Only with your consent, given at the time you supply your personal data, if you decide to tick the relevant box, your information will be added to our newsletter database. Andros UK Ltd. policy is NOT to make our mailing list available to any other parties and we promise never to disclose personal information about you and your family. We would only pass on your information if we received specific permission to do so from you, or if the law requires us to, in line with the Data Protection legislation. Andros UK Ltd. has taken all the necessary precautions to store your information in a secure environment and avoid accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access. Only a very small number of our employees and third parties duly authorised by us have access to your information, and only for the purposes agreed upon, subject to any exceptions set forth in any applicable laws. Finally, we may also share information about users of our website in an anonymous and aggregate form with third parties, to analyse customer trends and patterns and improve our business.

How long we will keep your personal data

Whenever we collect or process your personal data, we will only keep it for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected:

  • in the instance of competitions or promotions, entry information is held for a maximum of 6 weeks after close of promotions and safe delivery of any prizes.
  • in the instance of winners of competitions or promotions, those persons will be contacted directly by our personnel or third parties authorised by us (by email or telephone) to request their preferred delivery address details in order to receive their prizes. This data is not stored and is deleted once safe delivery of prizes has been undertaken.
  • in the instance of purchase of special branded items via the website, personal data including name, email, telephone and address details will be gathered for the delivery of said items. This information is held for maximum of 6 weeks after close of the sales period, once all deliveries and sales queries have been successfully concluded. Online payment is undertaken by payment transaction provider, Stripe. This data is not accessible to us or agencies authorised by us.
  • in the instance of sign up to newsletters, this data is maintained indefinitely on a third-party newsletter database (MailChimp) until it is personally requested to be deleted. This opportunity to unsubscribe is available at any time (see procedure below).
  • in the instance of consumer queries or issues raised pertaining to product quality made directly by email to customer.care@androsuk.co.uk or by letter to Andros UK Ltd., Lullington Lane, Oldford, Frome, Somerset, BA11 2NQ, these queries are answered in a timely manner and then logged and retained for 12 months in order that Andros personnel can study and rapidly identify and respond to any trends that may emerge concerning health & safety or product delivery and satisfaction issues.

At the end of the retention period, your data will either be deleted completely or anonymised, for example by aggregation with other data so that it can be used in a non-identifiable way for statistical analysis and business planning. We know how much data security matters to all our customers. With this in mind, we will treat your data with the utmost care and take all appropriate steps to protect it.

Access requests

Should you have any queries regarding the data we may hold about you and why, you may request clarification from us at any time by email (customer.care@androsuk.co.uk) or by letter addressed to Andros UK Ltd., Lullington Lane, Oldford, Frome, Somerset, BA11 2NQ. We will aim to provide the relevant data within 30 days. We will always verify the identify of anyone making a subject access request before handing over any information.

Your rights

In accordance with the regulations regarding the protection of personal data, you have the following rights: a right of access, rectification, erasure of personal data as well as a right to restrict the processing and a right to object, a right to the portability and a right to define guidelines for the storage, erasure and communication of your personal data after your death.

Unsubscribe procedure

We use MailChimp as our marketing automation platform. Information you provide for our Newsletter database will be transferred to MailChimp for processing in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Terms.
